The above picture is from a supper club event at the Dorf Haus supper club. Mary Bergin, author of "Wisconsin Supper Club Cookbook" and I attended a night celebrating supper clubs hosted by Dorf Haus. The event was a success and people enjoyed a delicious German meal and a screening of "Old Fashioned."
We’re getting ready to continue traveling all over the fine state of Wisconsin to film festivals and community screenings for “Old Fashioned.” Check out our screening page on our website to see if we’re coming to your community! Wisconsin Dells Supper Club Event TODAY!
“Old Fashioned” Director, Holly De Ruyter, has teamed up again with travel writer Mary Bergin for another supper club event. Mary and Holly will be at the House of Embers in Lake Delton today (Oct. 16th) celebrating supper clubs. Mary will be selling her new book “Wisconsin Supper Club Cookbook” and Holly will be selling DVDs of “Old Fashioned.” The event is from 5-8pm. Come talk supper clubs with Mary and Holly and watch a clip of “Old Fashioned” as you sip on an old fashioned!

University of Wisconsin - Milwaukee Visit
Holly took time to visit and talk to students studying film at University of Wisconsin Milwaukee when she was in town for the Milwaukee Film Festival. She talked to students about her experience going to school for film and working in the industry.
“Old Fashioned” Screening at Milwaukee Supper Club
Want to view “Old Fashioned” in an actual supper club? Friday, November 13th at 5:30pm “Old Fashioned” will screen at one of Milwaukee’s oldest supper clubs, the Five O’Clock Steakhouse.Mary Bergin will be there selling her new book “Wisconsin Supper Club Cookbook” and Holly will be there to do a question and answer after the screening and sell DVDs. Complimentary appetizers will be served from 5:30-6:30pm. $10 a person. A portion of the proceeds will benefit Hunger Task Force Milwaukee. Call 414-342-3553 to reserve your space.
DVD and Downloadable Copies
You may notice in the above photo Holly is holding a DVD of “Old Fashioned.” Yes, we have DVDs! We are currently setting up our retail store on our website, so please be patient as we get it up. DVDs will be up for sale in time for the holiday season, as we know many of you want to give “Old Fashioned” as a gift for the holidays. If you donated to our Kickstarter and one of your rewards is a digital copy of the film we will be in touch with you soon to get you your copy!
